Overview

Job Title: Interim Finance Manager • Location: Reading • Contract: Temporary – ASAP start until end of October • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start/finish times available)

Responsibilities
  • Lead on month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review the profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and reconcile accruals and deferred revenue.
  • Provide clear financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and relevant regulations.
  • Support the wider finance team and provide guidance as needed.

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within the education sector.
