A leading aerospace organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Communications Lead to support a major business acquisition and integration programme in Belfast. This is a key role responsible for managing internal, external, and community communications during a period of change, helping to bring a new company into the wider organisation.
You’ll work closely with project teams, senior leaders, and communications colleagues to develop and deliver a cohesive communications strategy that engages employees, informs stakeholders, and reflects the organisation’s values and vision.
Develop and deliver a communications plan to support business transformation and integration.
Establish and maintain effective internal communication channels.
Manage external communications, including media relations and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate with UK and international communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Support community engagement and corporate events in Northern Ireland.
Create and edit high-quality content, including press releases, briefings, and leadership updates.
Strong experience in corporate or internal communications, ideally within a transformation, integration, or M&A environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Good understanding of the Northern Ireland media and community landscape.
Experience managing communications across multiple channels and audiences.
Organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast‑paced environment.
