We are currently hiring an Intelligence Analyst for our Corporate Team in Hereford, England, United Kingdom (remote work arrangements from the UK only).

Job Description

Positions on SPS Global’s Intelligence Team require excellent analytic skills, clear communication, teamwork, and a strong commitment to our guiding principles. Intelligence Analysts assess risks that may impact our clients’ global operations and produce products that communicate risk and opportunity. They utilize open source and deep/dark web tools, travel risk assessments, and monitoring platforms, and build threat assessments that inform strategic security decisions.

Analysts collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, managing time, and demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability.

Responsibilities
  • Collect data using standard and atypical intelligence methods, including in-person interviews, monitoring surface, deep, and dark web sources, and media channels for threats.
  • Define client deliverables and develop methodologies, tools, and products to capture and report critical intelligence.
  • Lead development of new intelligence products and maintain business and security continuity.
  • Leverage latest tools and technology, serving as technology expert and maximizing utility.
  • Stay abreast of international and domestic threat trends and benchmark best practices.
  • Continuously seek innovative and creative approaches to analysis, supporting clients efficiently.
  • Conduct research and generate reports on international travel locations, assessing crime, safety, political stability, and local customs.
  • Monitor locations currently visited by clients, assessing incidents and trends that may increase risk.
Other Analysis & Assessment
  • Provide analysis and research on risks in security, infrastructure, technology, government, environment, reputation, and other factors.
  • Manage project timelines on long-term engagements and coordinate team efforts.
  • Coordinate with investigators on persons of interest or other threats found during research.
  • Develop presentations and brief findings to clients with attention to detail.
Client Consulting
  • Offer security and risk advice to clients covering digital footprints, best practices, and ad-hoc topics.
  • Translate client needs into actionable intelligence products, building relationships and identifying new clients.
  • Serve as entry point for clients into wider company and collaborate with other SPS Global teams.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to integrate risk advisory services.
  • Present a professional face to clients consistent with SPS Global's brand.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, international affairs, economics, regional studies, business, or similar.
  • 4+ years of experience in intelligence or risk analysis.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Reliable teammate with strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with intelligence cycle, defining requirements, and establishing collection.
  • Experience leveraging Open-Source Intelligence tools and techniques.
  • Ability to brief stakeholders with timely information.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing information and needs in entrepreneurial settings.
  • Up to 15% travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with private sector consulting, advisory, or high-tech companies.

Pay Range
