Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking an Installation Engineer to work in Thetford, Norfolk. The role involves installing customer product ranges, maintaining tools, and ensuring safety compliance. This permanent position offers working hours from Monday to Friday with a salary of £31,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hands-on installation, construction, or assembly role.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to site conditions.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation instructions.
• Full UK driving licence (or equivalent) required.
• Health and safety awareness, including manual handling and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Install customer product range efficiently and safely at customer locations following company standards and specifications.
• Assemble and secure components using hand and power tools.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety and regulations.
• Provide basic training and demonstrations to customers on product range.
• Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on range.
• Work closely with the Installation Supervisor, Project Managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographs and customer sign-offs.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Drive company vehicles.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
