Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ideally through a Modern Apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in In-Service Inspection and Testing required.
• Experienced in IT, Telecommunications, or equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Install IT and Telecom equipment at various locations.
• Terminate various cable types and assemble required installations.
• Read technical documentation and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage calibration of tools used for installations.

Skills

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

City & Guilds Level 3 Award

Relevant experience in IT or Telecommunications

Ability to implement installations according to specs

Understanding of Risk, PUWER, and COSHH

Earthing and termination of cables

Education

Modern Apprenticeship - NVQ Level 3

City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Electrical Testing
