Job description
Overview

The main responsibility of this role will be to support the Installation Fitter in their day-to-day activities. These activities will include disassembly and removal of redundant pipework, removal of redundant compressed air equipment, positioning of new compressed air pipework and installation of new compressed air system and distribution pipework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work area housekeeping
  • Setting out and packing-up of work areas
  • Assisting the Installation Fitter with removal / positioning of compressed air equipment
  • Assisting the Installation Fitter with installation of compressed air pipework and bracketry
  • English speaking & reading (essential)
  • Driving licence (preferred)

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements fully site based with various collections from GD Huddersfield site and local suppliers. Weekend and night time working will be occasionally required. Working away from home, staying in accommodation local to work site will be occasionally required.
