What you'll be doing
  • Delivery of Power T&D innovation projects from the initial idea to BAU.
  • Support projects in Substations, Cabling and Civils or Transmission to problem solve and introduce new ways of work and modern construction methods.
  • Assist in the planning and development of the innovation programme.
  • Develop presentations for the exec, construction teams and clients on the innovations.
  • Develop and support the innovation team to be successful by talking positively, listening actively and encouraging constantly.

  • Drive Technology Trials: Lead the research, testing and pilot implementation of new technologies (e.g. digital tools, devices, materials) on live power T&D projects to improve safety, productivity, and cost‑efficiency.
Who we're looking for

Experience:

  • Experience in implementing new technology, R&D, or process improvements in a construction or engineering environment. Ability to demonstrate delivering innovation projects or technical trials on‑site (either in a previous role or via academic projects).
  • Technical Skills: Solid foundation in project engineering principles and ability to quickly learn to use new software or equipment. Comfortable interpreting technical documentation, drawings, and data related to innovative systems.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
