A leading defence organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking an IS Industrial Operations Manager to manage daily activities and support projects within the Information Systems team. You will lead a team of specialists to innovate critical industrial systems. This role offers a salary of circa £63,000 and requires a strong background in manufacturing, logistics, and quality, alongside excellent IT skills. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, enhancing work-life balance.
Due to the positive growth at MBDA a position has been created to manage the daily activities and support projects in the Information Systems (IS) Industrial team. As our IS Industrial Operations Manager reporting into the UK Head of Industrial Information Systems, you'll play a vital role at the heart of our Industrial Information Systems mission, leading a team of skilled specialists who evolve and innovate the MBDA critical Industrial systems and capabilities. This is an opportunity to implement new ways of working, influence the adoption of standard & emerging technologies, and ensure that MBDA remains a trusted leader in secure defence solutions.
Salary: Circa £63,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
As part of Information Management (IM), the Information Systems (IS) team focusses on delivering IT solutions that are used to support the business in a variety of domains with the goal of improving business outcomes.
Due to continued growth, MBDA is looking for an experienced individual with an Industrial systems background. Ideally you will have spent time within manufacturing, logistics & quality domains and also have experience working with IT technologies. We are looking for a confident and driven self-starter who is not afraid to bring fresh, new and innovative ideas into the team.
