Job summary

A global real estate firm is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to manage the maintenance and repair of heavy commercial refrigeration systems across Scotland. This remote position requires a comprehensive understanding of various refrigerants and a formal apprenticeship in refrigeration. Responsibilities include proactive maintenance, fault finding, and documentation. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills and relevant qualifications in refrigerant handling.

Qualifications

• Ideally completed a formal apprenticeship in Refrigeration.
• CITB Safety Passport required.
• Completion of City & Guilds 2078 / 2079 F-Gas Refrigerant Handling.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM on heavy refrigeration systems.
• Perform reactive service and fault-finding.
• Conduct refrigerant recovery and charging.

Skills

Fault-finding in mechanical systems

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proactive approach

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
