Job summary

A respected animal welfare charity in East Sussex is seeking an experienced Individual and Community Giving Manager to spearhead its public fundraising program. You will lead a talented team to manage various fundraising streams, embed data-driven strategies, and enhance supporter journeys. With a strong commitment to animal welfare and ethical fundraising, the ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and relationship-building skills. This is a full-time position with some evening and weekend work required.

  • Required full driving licence.

Location: East Sussex BN8 5AJ

Salary: £39,559

Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours/5 days per week with some evenings and weekends (TOIL provided)

Contract Type: Permanent

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Individual and Community Giving Manager to lead and grow our public fundraising programme across Regular Giving, Community Fundraising, Events, Appeals, Legacies, Lottery, Sponsorship and Digital.

You’ll manage a talented team, develop supporter journeys, embed data-led decision making and drive income growth to help secure Raystede’s long-term future.

  • A strong track record in public fundraising
  • Experience managing multiple fundraising streams
  • Leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent storytelling, relationship-building and data literacy
  • A passion for ethical fundraising and animal welfare

Some evening/weekend work required. Full driving licence essential.
