You will be working in the Systems & Assurance Service in Housing Options

The Role

Are you passionate about driving change improving services and making a real difference in your community Cornwall Council is looking for a dynamic Improvement and Projects Manager to join our newly formed Systems and Assurance Team . This is a pivotal role supporting strategic projects and performance initiatives that help prevent homelessness ensure compliance and enhance customer experience across Cornwall.

As Improvement and Projects Manager you’ll lead and support a diverse portfolio of projects programmes and partnerships. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of key Council objectives including :

  • Implementing quality assurance frameworks
  • Supporting statutory compliance
  • Reducing emergency and temporary accommodation use
  • Enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction

You’ll work across teams and with external partners providing expert advice performance insights and project governance to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a public / customer‑facing role where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.

This position is not subject to a criminal record disclosure check.

Working Pattern

You will work 37 hours per week generally Monday to Friday. Flexible working is available under the CC Flexible Working Policy. You will expect to work as a hybrid of home and office as the business requires
