Job description
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the bookings team and to ensure appointments are made in line with Trust policies
  • Ensure robust administrative processes are developed and implemented, including regular review
  • To work collaboratively with all radiology sites counterparts to ensure cross site cover in the event of staff shortages
  • Identify and elevate details of any delays or bottlenecks in modality worklists affecting booking practices and / or will affect the patient journey or delivery of a high-quality imaging service
  • To support the service manager to achieve improvements in the patient pathway, service delivery and patient experience in agreed areas
  • General workforce responsibilities including but not limited to; sickness and absence reporting, recruitment, staff development and training, 1. Improving representation at senior levels of staff with disabilities, from black, Asian, and ethnic minorities background, identify as LGBTQ+ and women, through improved recruitment and leadership development 2. Widening access (anchor institution) and employability 3. Improving the experience of staff with disability 4. Improving the EDI literacy and confidence of trust staff through training and development 5. Making equalities mainstream

You will need to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of working in an acute hospital as well as an understanding of radiology pathways and booking processes.
