A prominent commercial loss adjusting firm is looking for an experienced Switch Board Operator / Telephonist to provide telephony support for insurance claims. You will take and transfer calls, resolve queries, and ensure exceptional customer service. The position allows for hybrid working arrangements. Ideal candidates will have a background in insurance or loss adjusting and possess excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience from an Insurance or Loss Adjusting background.
• Proven experience in handling or supporting claims.
• Understanding of the claims process, regulations, and policy coverage.

Responsibilities

• Answering a high volume of telephone calls.
• Dealing with and resolving basic queries.
• Recording detailed notes pertaining to the call.
• Taking detailed messages and emailing them to the relevant person.
• Raising any issues with the case handler.
• Assisting other areas of the business as required.
