A healthcare recruitment agency is looking for a Functional Assessor to conduct assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). This role offers hybrid working arrangements, a generous annual leave package, and a fully paid training program. Candidates must be qualified nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics, pharmacists, or occupational therapists with NMC/HCPC registration and at least one year of post-registration experience. Qualified nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics, pharmacists or occupational therapists are invited to apply for a Functional Assessor role to support Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments as part of the DWP Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
You will work autonomously to assess claimants, completing assessments remotely or in an office setting, and use your clinical experience to understand how health conditions affect daily life. A fully paid training programme is provided, and the role contributes to clinical hours to support ongoing registration.
