Job summary

A growing service business in Manchester is looking for an Accounts Assistant to manage various financial duties. The candidate should have at least 12 months of experience in Finance. Responsibilities include posting invoices, managing cashflow, and dealing with queries from suppliers. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Posting purchase invoices and credit notes.
  • Resolving queries with buyers.
  • Posting payments and receipts.
  • Updating the daily cashflow.
  • Processing weekly subcontractor run with CIS deductions.
  • Allocating payments and receipts.
  • Posting retention credits.
  • Assisting with updating monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Monitoring remits/invoice inbox and dealing with supplier queries.
  • Sending out monthly CIS statements to subcontractors.
  • Posting monthly credit card invoices and matching to receipts.
