Role : HVAC Sales Manager (Technical / Major Projects)

Location : To be based in the North West

Salary : £45-55,000 PA / 40 hours / car or car allowance / 25 + 8 days holiday / sick pay / life assurance / health care cashplan / enhanced maternity & paternity

We're a nationwide engineering contractor and service provider working at scale across the UK. With a heritage of 50+ years, we deliver retail shopfitting, refrigeration, and air-conditioning installation and service through a team of 120+ directly employed colleagues. The operation is a £40m turnover business and forms part of a wider national facilities management group with an additional 1,600 employees across the country.

Our contracts span a broad client mix including high street retail, healthcare (NHS), education, petrol stations, convenience retail, and leisure centres, among others.

What you'll be doing

This is a consultative, technically-led sales role focused on growing HVAC revenue through existing clients and new opportunities. You'll take ownership of account performance, identify where customers can benefit from additional services, and shape bids for larger, more complex works.

Key areas of responsibility include :

Owning and developing a portfolio of HVAC accounts, spotting opportunities for uplift, expansion and cross-sell.

Producing technical sales solutions: surveying needs, defining scope, and specifying HVAC / ventilation projects typically £250k+ in value.

Promoting and selling compliance‑related services (for example, TM44 inspections) where suitable.
