Humanities Teacher Needed – Full Time (Enfield, EN1)

A specialist SEN school in Enfield (EN1) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Humanities Teacher to join their team full time. You will be teaching History, Geography and RE from KS3 up to GCSE within an ASD provision. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for supporting students who benefit from structure, patience, and creative approaches to learning.

Key Requirements
  • Strong Humanities background (History, Geography, RE) at KS3–GCSE
  • Experience planning and delivering Humanities curriculum
  • SEN experience highly welcomed – especially Autism (ASD)
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and use personalised teaching strategies
  • Warm, consistent and resilient approach to supporting learners
Role Details
  • Full time, Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 8:30–16:30
  • CPD: Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 16:00–17:00
  • Working with students with ASD in a supportive and well‑structured school
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Humanities Teacher looking to make a real impact in an environment where creativity, understanding, and consistency are essential.

This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise.
