Responsibilities

• Auditing and ensuring compliance with licenses and environmental permits.
• Reviewing monitoring data and preparing reports.
• Liaising with the team to ensure compliance and timely reporting of incidents.
• Chairing safety meetings and resolving issues at the EFW plant.
• Managing actions to prevent environmental breaches.
• Maintaining quality of management systems and monitoring.

Skills

Strong background in health and safety

Good knowledge of permitting and licensing

Understanding of waste/EFW industry

Education

Degree or HND/HNC/ONC in Environmental Science or similar

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
