In a brand-new company position we are now seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Compliance Officer to support our continued growth and ensure our operations remain safe, compliant, and efficient.Job Description:Health & SafetyDevelop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures across the site.Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Deliver training and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.Site Maintenance & ComplianceCoordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure operational continuity.Ensure all plant, machinery, and infrastructure meet safety and compliance standards.Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.Audits & ISO StandardsPrepare for and manage internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).Maintain up-to-date documentation and records to support audit readiness.Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit outcomes.GDPR & Data ProtectionEnsure compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies.Conduct regular reviews of data handling practices and staff training.Accreditations & ReportingMaintain and support industry-specific accreditations and certifications.Produce regular reports and KPIs for senior management on H&S and compliance performance.Beneficial Qualifications & Experience:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalentIdeally experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or automation environment.Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.Familiarity with GDPR and data protection regulations.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proactive and hands-on approach to safety and compliance.Ability to influence and engage staff at all levels.Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.Additional Details:Mon - Fri - 36 hoursNegotiable SalaryOngoing support / training & qualificationsEnhanced pension - circa 22% employer contributionAnnual bonusTPBN1_UKTJ
