HSE Manager

£60,000 to £65,000, 10% Bonus, 10% pension + Healthcare

Role Description

• Working with Senior Managers to ensure that employees remain in a safe working environment and providing advice where appropriate.
• Determine the strategic direction and work priorities (in conjunction with the management team) for the continuous improvement of the H&S processes and policies across all locations where employees are based, in accordance with the relevant legislation.
• Advise, guide, support, promote awareness and coach all personnel with the implementation of the company\'s policies and procedures. Complete other projects at the request of the Management.
• Work with Senior Managers in driving a change in the business.
• Getting into the factory and implementing tools and techniques to bring a stronger view on site safety.
• Assuring best practice always.
• Working on short- and long-term projects in the business.

Skills and Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma preferred (or equivalent).
• IOSH Certification.
• ISO Accredited.
• Experience within manufacturing.
• A positive "can do" attitude and drive to succeed.
• Experience in the management of health, safety and environmental systems.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen, 8D etc.).
