Overview

HSE Engineer - Renewables - Permanent

Our client is recruiting for a Global HSE Consultant to be based in the ME for a long term Renewable project

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing HSE design basis, philosophies, study reports, equipment specifications, P&ID, layouts, datasheets, hazardous area schedules, fire & gas detector layouts, firewater hydraulics, fire water pump sizing, deluge/spray system design, and procurement of gas suppression systems for Offshore wind Energy platform.
  • Organize and actively participate in workshops including HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, FMECA, RAM, SIL, Bow-Tie, SCE PS, and ALARP.
  • Develop inquiry requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions for specialist studies, as well as safety and fire-fighting equipment.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants conducting specialized studies, third-party certifying agencies, consortium partners, subcontractors, other discipline engineers, and the project team.
  • Prepare and track the project schedule to ensure design activities are completed within allocated manhours and timelines.
  • Organize and participate in FAT, SAT, HAT, and offshore commissioning of fire protection and safety systems.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with experience in technical safety and loss prevention experience in offshore projects, with Engineering Companies or Safety Consultants.
  • German native or fluent in German language
