HR & Resourcing Coordinator
Site-Based Role - Dorking, Surrey
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week (flexible start times)

Are you looking to kickstart or grow your career in HR? Do you thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment? We're looking for a confident and proactive HR & Resourcing Coordinator to join our team at a specialist mental health hospital in Dorking. This is a site-based role offering broad exposure across all areas of HR, ideal for someone with some HR experience (through education, work experience, or a previous role) and a passion for people. You'll be the sole HR support on-site, working closely with managers and supported by central teams including HR Advisors, Payroll, Compliance, and Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate recruitment activities with hiring managers and central teams. Ensure smooth onboarding and compliance with safer recruitment and right-to-work policies.
  • Monitor DBS renewals, professional accreditations, and mandatory training. Liaise with internal and external providers to maintain site compliance.
  • Provide first-line HR support on ER cases, policies, and procedures. Partner with managers and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Support initiatives to improve staff engagement and retention. Facilitate exit interviews and feedback processes.
  • Maintain personnel files, minute meetings, and provide payroll cover when required.
Qualifications
  • Some HR experience (e.g. through a degree, work experience, or previous role in retail or admin).
  • Comfortable working in a mental health hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
