Job summary

Job description

Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our client, based in Winchester, to find an HR Manager.

This newly created role sits within the People Team and reports into a fantastic Head of HR.

You will be a pro-active and hands-on HR Manager used to combining operational and strategic responsibilities. You will be working closely different areas of the business to support, advise and influence on people related activities and decisions.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Act as the main HR contact, providing hands-on and strategic support.
  • Advise on complex ER cases and coach managers in handling people matters.
  • Manage absence, wellbeing, and OH referrals.
  • Support TUPE, organisational change, and HR policy development.
  • Contribute to HR projects including wellbeing, DE&I and engagement.
  • Oversee visa sponsorship, UKVI compliance and international HR matters.
  • Mentor junior HR colleagues and build strong business relationships.
  • Support annual HR cycles (performance, pay, benefits, policy updates).

Ideally you will be CIPD qualified, have experience of TUPE, knowledge of UK employment law. It would also be advantageous if you have previously worked in a role that has supported employment law overseas.

As a person, you will be an excellent relationship builder an implementor as well as being agile and collaborative.

The salary for this role is circa GBP60K, depending on experience. There is also hybrid working offered with this role and there is the requirement for very occasional travel to London.
