HR Manager
£40,000 – £50,000 DOE – Hybrid (flexibility required) – East of England

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? This is a fantastic standalone opportunity to lead the HR function within a high-profile professional sports club.

I am looking for an HR Manager who can bring energy, expertise, and a people-first approach to drive forward recruitment, talent development, and EDI strategy. This is a broad and exciting hands-on role, working closely with leaders and staff across the organisation, supporting them to deliver at the highest level. A background in sport, retail, hospitality or similarly, fast passed, high profile, dynamic environments would be advantageous to understand the stakeholders and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding, ensuring all new hires align with the organisation’s culture.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including probation reviews, performance appraisals/management, and professional development.
  • Review and maintain HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Partner with Finance to manage salary budgets and workforce planning.
  • Drive staff wellbeing initiatives, ensuring engagement and support across the workforce.
  • Own the Individual Development Plan (IDP) and succession planning processes.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programmes to strengthen future capability.
  • Deliver the EDI strategy
