Join us as a HR Business Partner and make a real impact by shaping our workforce and leading key initiatives to elevate our organization. As our HR Business Partner, you will act as a strategic partner to our Contract Logistics business unit, playing a critical role in aligning our HR strategies with Business Unit goals to make a real impact. In this pivotal role, you’ll act as a trusted partner to stakeholders to help shape strategic initiatives, drive organizational effectiveness, and enhance employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Support Head of HR with the development and implementation of the local people plan.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand organisational goals and challenges, providing HR guidance and insights.
  • Implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring effective talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to design and deliver comprehensive HR programs and initiatives, fostering employee engagement and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Support workforce planning and talent management activities, to identify skill gaps and develop succession plans to support organisational growth.
  • Train, coach, support and provide expertise and guidance to stakeholders on the application of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation and best practices in line with current legislation.
  • Act as a change agent, driving organisational change, and effectively managing change initiatives to optimise employee productivity and acceptance.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to generate insights, providing data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and support decision-making at all levels.
What we would like you to bring
  • Ideally degree-level education or equivalent experience, along with a CIPD qualification.
  • Desired demonstrable ability to align HR strategies in large matrixed organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Must have extensive experience in employee relations and the ability to coach managers to effectively handle related issues.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, stakeholder and influencing skills at all levels.

This is a national role requiring a driving license, as you’ll support stakeholders across the Midlands/Warwickshire/Oxfordshire areas. The role is hybrid, allowing you to plan your own diary and enjoy a mix of working from home and office locations.
