This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering high‑quality HR advice, employee relations, managing policy updates, and supporting organisational change initiatives. Based in Birmingham City Centre, you will be required to be in the Office one day a week.

Description
  • Review, update, and implement people policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations casework and coach managers through processes.
  • Use data and insights to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Policy Working Group to maintain an effective policy review schedule.
  • Support consultation and implementation of policy changes, including engagement with trade unions.
  • Contribute to change projects such as competency and well‑being frameworks.
Profile
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to managing priorities.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable.
