Job summary

A leading care provider in the UK is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert Employee Relations support. You'll manage ER issues, support managers with complex casework, and ensure compliance with Employment Law. The ideal candidate should have a CIPD qualification and experience in the care sector. This role offers a chance to be part of a collaborative HR team in a dynamic work environment where your contributions will make a difference.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Employee Relations and casework, preferably in care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practices.
  • Confident in managing own administration and workload.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert guidance on ER issues to managers and colleagues.
  • Manage complex casework and attend hearings.
  • Support ACAS conciliations and Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Assist with change management processes like TUPE.
  • Maintain accurate case records in the HR system.

Are you ready to make a real impact through expert Employee Relations support? We’re looking for a confident, proactive HR Advisor to join our supportive ER team, reporting to the Senior HR Advisor.

In this hands-on role, you’ll provide consistent, compliant advice across a diverse regional portfolio—supporting managers on issues like attendance, grievances, disciplinaries, performance, probation, and flexible working.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering expert guidance and coaching managers and colleagues on ER issues
  • Managing complex casework and attending hearings and meetings
  • Supporting ACAS conciliations and Employment Tribunal claims
  • Assisting with change management processes including TUPE and restructures
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in the HR system
  • Contributing to training and development initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations and casework (Care sector experience is a plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practices
  • CIPD or equivalent HR qualification
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing your own administration and workload
  • IT savvy – especially with Word and Excel
