Housing Support Officer

Hamilton Woods are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer to manage a caseload of vulnerable clients on a temporary basis.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Officer :
  • Manage waiting lists, assessments and resident move-ins.
  • Conduct Right to Rent checks and ensure residents understand their tenancy obligations.
  • Manage own caseload and cover for colleagues when required.
  • Provide accurate advice and support to help residents maintain their accommodation.
  • Ensure all housing management activity complies with legislation, policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Record all interactions, actions and outcomes accurately on internal systems.
  • Handle housing administration including data entry, correspondence and scheduling inspections or meetings.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, dealing with enquiries, complaints and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Build strong professional relationships with residents, internal teams and external partners.
  • Collect and monitor performance data, assisting with regular reporting.
  • Manage incidents, arrears and anti-social behaviour cases in line with policies and procedures.
  • Complete court paperwork and hearings when required.
