Overview

We are seeking an experienced Housing Patch Manager to deliver high-quality housing services across a designated geographical area. This is a full-time, temporary role for a committed professional with a strong background in housing management and a passion for community engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of a housing patch, including tenant engagement, neighbourhood management, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations. The role also requires collaboration with partner organisations, contractors, and internal teams to address housing issues and drive service improvements. Manage a designated patch of housing stock, ensuring high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing issues, concerns, and complaints effectively.
  • Carry out regular estate inspections and take appropriate action to address tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour.
  • Work in partnership with internal departments and external agencies to deliver holistic housing solutions.
  • Monitor repairs, maintenance, and service delivery within the patch, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with housing legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and case notes using relevant housing systems.
  • Support the development and delivery of local initiatives to improve communities and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in housing management, tenancy services, or neighbourhood management.
  • Strong people management and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse tenant groups.
  • Confident decision-maker with problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, policies, and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Comfortable conducting estate visits, investigations, and enforcement when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literate, with experience using housing management systems (e.g. Northgate, Capita, or similar).
  • Must be able to commute to and work within the Aspley area.
Terms
  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00).
  • Emergency requirement - Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
