Housing Management Independent Living Lead Location : Birmingham Salary : £36,050 - £38,000 per annum Job title: Housing Management Independent Living Lead A fulfilling and exciting opportunity available for an Income and Rent Arrears Recovery Officer to join our Association.

The Income and Rent Arrears Recovery Officer will be based in our offices in Birmingham.

Adullam Homes Housing Association Ltd supports vulnerable individuals and households.

We provide quality housing, deliver tailored support plans, training, education, and employment opportunities to help people achieve stable lives and realise their full potential.

Purpose of the role This is a key post contributing to the operational management of Adullam’s general needs accommodation services.

Working with the Head of Housing to support the Association to ensure effective delivery of housing related services.

You will act as the central point of contact for administrating and delivering professional tenancy management service to our general let tenants and external stakeholders.

We own and manage a limited number of properties across the UK, it is therefore necessary for us to prioritise applicants to ensure a fair and equitable allocation of our available accommodation to those with more than just a need for quality housing, whilst prioritising those in greatest need.

You will be responsible for approximately 130 dispersed general needs accommodation with tenants living in self-contained flats, bungalows and houses in and around central Birmingham, Sandwell and Tipton areas.

Key duties include managing and inspecting the accommodation, starting and ending tenancies, allocations and viewing, empty property and rent management along with recovery of former tenant arrears working with Income Recovery Officer and assisting in delivery of community involvement and engagement activities and promotion.

Along with overseeing our allocations and letting ICT processes for mutual exchanges using Home Swapper portal to help people to access safe and comfortable accommodation, in accordance with our mission statement.

You will be expected to contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association’s values, culture and ethos.
