Overview

Housing Management Coordinator (25808) – Cheltenham and Gloucester

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday

£25,838 to £26,645 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Cheltenham and Gloucester. As our Housing and Property Guru, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!

Responsibilities
  • Engage and involve customers in their tenancies to ensure homes they can be proud of.
  • Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
  • Issue and sign warning letters and notices as needed, which may lead to attending court.
  • Prepare rooms for new customers and maximise occupancy by turning around vacant units within set timescales.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.
You bring
  • Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties.
  • Know-how of re-letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
  • Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all backgrounds.
  • A “can do” positive attitude, proactive and well organized, and able to work on your initiative.
  • Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.

You’ll join Debbie Senior Client Service Manager and soon to join our new Client Service Manager and the Cheltenham and Gloucester team. We’re passionate about what we do and proud of our team.

Job details
  • Flexible working hours Monday – Friday with some flexibility.
  • Based at our service in Gloucestershire; you’ll travel around the 5 properties within Cheltenham and Gloucester.
  • Ability to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups.
  • A vehicle insured for business purposes is required; mileage is paid.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required and paid for.
