This is a Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring all areas of the care home are kept clean and well-presented. This includes carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and ensuring residents\' personal spaces are respected. You will need knowledge of health and safety, particularly around moving and handling, fire safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience of cleaning in a public setting and a compassionate approach to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry services are also required.
