Job summary

A healthcare provider in Bury is seeking a Housekeeper for the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will support staff by serving meals and drinks to patients, ensuring cleanliness in kitchen areas, and assisting with stock management. Hours to be worked over evenings and night shifts.

We are looking for an individual who can contribute to the team, is cheerful, and is willing to go that extra mile to deliver the best possible patient and customer experience. The successful applicant will be dependable, understand what good customer service is, and maintain health and safety standards while coping with pressure and strict time frames.

Main duties of the job
  • Support the ward by serving meals and drinks to patients on a busy assessment area ward throughout the day and monitoring nutrition and hydration.
  • Clean and monitor kitchen areas on the ward, ensuring fridge temperatures are taken and recorded accurately.
  • Support ward staff to maintain patient safety and ensure stock ordering and replenishment.

Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorship.
