Job summary

A renowned hospitality group in the UK is seeking a dynamic Hotel Sales Manager to lead sales efforts during a pivotal transformation. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £39,000 plus benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hotel sales experience and a strong understanding of the Midlands market. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to drive revenue growth across various segments. Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in hotel sales is essential, ideally within branded environments.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share.
  • Strong understanding of the Midlands market, particularly around NEC Birmingham Airport.
  • Experience with Marriott or similar global hotel sales structures is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with revenue and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by targeting Corporate, Transient, Group Leisure, and Meetings segments.
  • Secure placements in travel programmes and champion our meeting/event spaces.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and evaluate their success.
  • Build strong client relationships with Accor and Marriott commercial teams.
  • Represent the hotel at client meetings and networking events.
