Overview

We are looking for a dedicated customer service professional to join our Front Office Reception team at Whittlebury Park, a 254-bedroom four-star hotel, conference and training centre set in hundreds of acres of ancient parkland. We also boast award-winning facilities, including a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, luxurious spa and championship golf course.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and handle guest enquiries promptly, delivering excellent customer service to ensure optimum guest experience
  • Manage the check in/out process
  • Maintain good knowledge of Whittlebury Park & our offerings, upselling hotel facilities & exploring potential sales opportunities
  • Manage incoming calls, ensuring all interactions, whether face to face, by phone, or email, are handled timely and professionally, liaising with other hotel departments as required
Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a good team player who thrives in a busy working environment. You will have an excellent telephone manner, be passionate about high quality customer service and be confident in your ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport. Key skills also include a keen attention to detail, ability to multitask, and efficient time management.

Notes

This list of duties cannot be exhaustive due to the requirements of the hotel industry. You may be required from time to time to carry out reasonable tasks as requested by management.

Hours & Employment

The hours and days of work will vary and include weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and holiday periods. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), but we are open to considering two part-time positions (20 hours per week each) for the right candidates.
