A healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality palliative care. You will support the multidisciplinary team in individualized care delivery for patients with complex needs. Candidates should have recent health/social care experience, be passionate about care, and possess strong communication skills. This position requires working closely with patients and adhering to safety regulations, with shifts offering comprehensive training.
St Johns Hospice is a 10 bedded in-patient unit based in Balby, Doncaster. Specialist palliative care services provide complex symptom management, psychological support and end of life care to patients and their families within a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment. We are seeking a Nursing Assistant with formal experience of working within a care environment who is passionate about providing high quality care and support and wants to make a difference to our patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives.
You will work as part of our In-Patient Unit team and with the wider multidisciplinary team, alongside trained nursing staff.
The Hospice offers a long day shift pattern. Training will be provided to enable you to work with clients with complex and intensive needs, including using a range of medical/nursing equipment to optimise health, well-being and independence.
