Organisation: The Green Estate Community Interest Company

The Green Estate CIC is an award-winning company, recognised by the Kings Award for Sustainability and the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards. We host the Pictorial Meadows brand which is an award-winning innovator in bold, high-impact seed and turf products – borne from a pioneering partnership between The Green Estate CIC and the University of Sheffield.

Our meadows are transforming landscapes across the UK and beyond — from creating breathtaking displays at visitor destinations like Burghley House, to playing a vital role in urban resilience, with our turf now part of Sustainable Urban Drainage systems in Mansfield. With exciting partnerships already flourishing in Europe — and more on the horizon — this is a chance to be part of something truly inspiring.

Role

We are looking for a skilled horticulturist with hands-on experience of commercial production cycles. You’ll help lead a team to deliver top-quality products on site, ensure quality assurance with our growing partners, and play a key role in building new collaborations at home and abroad.

What you’ll need
  • A full driving licence and valid passport
  • Willingness to travel regularly (with at least three overseas trips per year)
  • A passion for plants, people, and pioneering landscapes, supported by either qualifications or proven industry experience.

Our international partnerships are expanding – with Holland set as a major focus in 2025 – so this is a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, leadership and growth.
