Home School Liaison Officer

Grade 5, Salary £28,598 - £34,434 FTE (Actual £23,475 - £28,265.55)

35 hours per week (8am to 3.30pm) – Term Time Only plus 1 week

Permanent - Start as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Home School Liaison / Education Welfare Officer to support children whose education is at risk due to attendance related issues. To take particular note of attendance issues with vulnerable groups, especially Looked After Children, SEN, FSM/PP, EAL and to take appropriate action as necessary. To assess need, implement effective action and evaluate outcomes against agreed objectives. The successful applicant will join a growing team of support staff who are committed to supporting the teaching staff to ensure that Lyng Hall students have the best educational “experience” possible.
