Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, always preserving clients’ dignity and promoting independence.
• Medication Support: Prompting or administering prescribed medication (full training provided), and keeping accurate records of dosage and times.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs, preferences, or specific health requirements.
• Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, tidying up, and helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Companionship: Offering emotional support, conversation, and companionship—especially important for clients who live alone.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping clients move around their homes or accompany them on walks, appointments, and social activities.
• Monitoring Wellbeing: Observing changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition and reporting concerns to supervisors or family members as appropriate.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintaining clear and accurate records of care provided and communicating effectively with both clients and the care team.
