Overview

Care Assistant based in Thorne, Doncaster. Salary: £12.71 per hour + travel time at £0.30 per mile and travel time at £12.21 per hour. Hours: 7am–3pm and 3pm–11pm, 4/3 shift pattern (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri). No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care—always with dignity and respect.
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as preparing nutritious meals, light housekeeping, and occasional shopping to help maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Support with medication routines, ensuring individuals receive the right help at the right time, with full training provided.
• Offer meaningful companionship, bringing warmth, reassurance, and social interaction to brighten someone’s day.

Qualifications and qualities

• Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
• Reliable and honest team player with strong communication skills (verbal and written) for accurate record-keeping.
• Previous experience in care, hospitality, retail, or customer service is welcomed but not essential; the right attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Share values: commitment to positive change, trust, professional excellence, and delivering personalised care.
• Right to work in the UK; currently not able to accept applications from individuals requiring a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
