We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching to A2 level.

Position

History and Politics Lecturer

  • Hourly Rate: £25 - £35ph
  • Location: West London
  • Job Type: Full time (24 hours pw)
Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons in History and Politics to students at GCSE, AS, and A2 levels.
  • Prepare students for Edexcel and AQA examinations by covering the required syllabi comprehensively.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to enhance student learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, assessments, and grades.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to plan and coordinate lessons and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
Qualifications
  • A degree in History, Politics, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching History and Politics at GCSE, AS, and A2 levels.
  • Familiarity with the Edexcel and AQA exam boards and their requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
