  • Deputise for other service leads in their absence and participate in out-of-hours sessions when required; may be on a 24-hour on-call emergency rota for a range of invasive and non-invasive tests.
  • Together with clinical responsibilities during out of hours or on-call sessions, take on a level of managerial control of departmental issues as designated by the manager.
  • Deliver clinical skills and knowledge unsupervised across a wide range of basic and specialised clinical procedures; be proficient in a range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures; provide high-quality care for patients.
