A leading education provider in Bromley is seeking a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting teachers and providing personalized learning experiences for pupils, including leading lessons when needed. Applicants should have HLTA status and experience in SEN settings. Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB
Salary: £28,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am-4.30pm

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers to deliver engaging, creative, and personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of our pupils. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You will work flexibly across the school, including:
You will develop strong, positive relationships with pupils, encouraging engagement, interaction, and emotional regulation while supporting effective behaviour management strategies. A proactive, calm, and resilient approach is key to helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
You will also play an important role in maintaining a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring pupils’ wellbeing is always a priority.
