A public health institution in South Shields is seeking practitioners to provide high intensity CBT interventions for individuals with mental health issues. Candidates should possess a qualification in High Intensity CBT and have significant experience in psychological therapy. Staff wellbeing and development are priorities, with a supportive team environment. South Tyneside Talking Therapies is an award-winning service and one of the highest performing services at both regional and national level.
The post holder will provide screenings and high intensity CBT interventions as part of the Talking Therapies team which also includes other therapeutic models such as IPT, CAT, EMDR, CFD, Couples Counselling and Person Centred Counselling.
The post holder will be expected to have a commitment to a holistic model of mental health and working with partners to address client need through 1:1 work and group work.
There is recognition that staff can realise their potential through effective clinical and management supervision, managerial support, and through access to internal and external training.
Staff development and their wellbeing are accepted as priorities, and we have a long-established Wellbeing Strategy Group which develops wellbeing initiatives for the service.
This post holder will be required to work one out of hours shift per week.
