Week 1: Monday to Friday 6.00 am – 14.30 pm
Week 2: Monday to Friday 15.30 pm – 12.00 am

Overview

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and selecting the correct repair techniques.
  • Work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.
  • Carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
  • Provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
  • Carry out final checks on work that has been completed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Time‑served HGV Technician or an equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and associated vehicles.
  • Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.
  • Valid Driving License
