A well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their night shift team in Widnes. You will be responsible for thorough vehicle inspections and necessary repairs, along with general servicing and MOT preparation. The role requires full industry qualifications and thorough knowledge of Truck & Trailer maintenance, with added advantage if possessing a commercial licence. Qualifications

• Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailers Maintenance.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements.
• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection.
• General Servicing and MOT preparation.

Depot Location: Widnes

Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday 6pm to 6am

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £56,000 Per Annum

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements

• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

Qualifications & Attributes

• Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailers Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage, but isn't essential
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
