Overview

HGV Technician - Up to £48k per annum

Location: Fradley Park (Lichfield)

Shifts: Monday - Friday Lates (15:00pm - 12:00am). Weekly rotation shifts also available.

Excellent opportunity to join our client with over 65 years of experience in the industry. They are not just a dealership — They are a trusted name in the world of commercial vehicles. As an authorised distributor for Renault & Isuzu Trucks, we are now looking for additional skilled HGV Technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
• Diagnosing and fixing faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform key component work; engine, gearbox, suspension and brakes.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring road worthiness.
• Completing all service documentation and inspections to DVLA standards.
• Working to time targets without compromising on safety or quality.
• Keeping the workshop safe, clean and compliant at all times.

Requirements / Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction.
• Proven experience as an HGV technician. (City & Guilds 1,2,3)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across all vehicle systems.
• Up to date knowledge of legal vehicle standards.
• A team player, proactive solutions and ability to adapt.
