A leading logistics provider is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work in the Canley area of Coventry. The role involves trunking and multi-drop deliveries, with flexible Monday to Friday shift patterns. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 or Class 2 licence, held for at least 2 years, including CPC and Digi Tacho certifications. Competitive pay rates of £17.00/hour for Class 1 and £16.00/hour for Class 2. Benefits include paid annual leave, free uniform, and continuous training.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for our customer in the Canley area of Coventry, our client is an established brand leader within the household plastic, furniture and garden accessories industry that has been going for over 45 years.

We have excellent opportunities for both HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for ongoing regular all year round work. So if you have recently finished a Christmas / seasonal job this may be the opportunity for you!

HGV Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
• Must have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
• Previous multi‑drop experience preferred
• Physically fit due to handballing
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road regulations
• Happy to do pre‑planned nights out as and when required

HGV Driver type of work:

• Class 1: Trunking work
• Class 2: Box trailer deliveries handball involved
• Multi‑drop work
• Handball involved
• Occasional nights out required, depending on the number of drops
• Ongoing work available

HGV Driver Shift Details:

Monday to Friday

Start times between 05:00 and 08:00

HGV Driver Pay Rates (PAYE):

• Class 1: £17.00 per hour
• Class 2: £16.00 per hour
