Tramper Driver (HGV Class 1)

Location: Doncaster

Job Type: Full-time, ongoing (potential temp to perm)

Salary: £15.50 - £17:37ph + (£25 evening expense)

About the role:

We are looking for a Tramper Driver in Doncaster for an ongoing role. It\'s a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys life on the road and wants to work with a supportive company.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for nationwide deliveries
• Transport chilled and frozen goods in line with customer requirements
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensures compliance with road transport regulations
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital records
• Overnight stays in the cab (tramping) throughout the working week
• Ensure high standards of customer service at all delivery points

What we are looking for

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC and Digi Tachograph card
• Previous tramping experience is essential
• Strong understanding of driver hours, WTD, and road safety
• Ability to work independently with good time management skills
• Professional, reliable, and flexible attitude
