We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) to join the team.

Shift Details

Shifts across Monday to Sunday

• Full time -Part time / AD-HOC -Weekends Hours : Afters / Nights Pay Rate : Monday to Friday- £19.15ph PAYE Saturday- £24.52ph PAYE Over time (anything over 8 hours) Monday to Saturday- £27.25ph PAYE Sunday- £27.25ph PAYE- Flat rate Bank Holidays- £34.23ph PAYE Location : Preston West, PR2 Job Type : Ongoing The role : Trucking only Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.

Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.

Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.

Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).
• Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
• Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm to 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
• Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
